Supporting borrowers since 2013
We have supported borrowers since December 2013, explaining lending terms without unnecessary jargon.

At East Coast Finance Group, we work as mortgage brokers in Newcastle, helping you examine home loan options before you commit to a lender. Our work covers buying a home, purchasing an investment property, refinancing an existing loan and arranging finance for borrowers whose circumstances need closer assessment. We discuss your income, ongoing expenses, existing commitments and the purpose of your loan before comparing available products.
Our role is to explain the terms and features in plain language, coordinate supporting documents and manage your application with the chosen lender. You can read more about our home loans, investment loans, refinancing, first-home buyer loans and general loans. To discuss your situation, call (02) 4956 9909 or send an enquiry through our contact form.
“We wanted a loan structure that would allow us to purchase multiple investment properties. The guys at East Coast came back with a structure that met our brief. They took the time to explain the structure and how it all worked. It was all explained in simple to understand terms which gave us great confidence.”
“FANTASTIC, East Coast made the whole refinancing thing so easy. They listened to what we wanted to do with our loans and then presented a solution. They restructured our home loan and investment loans perfectly to what we wanted. They answered all our questions and kept us up to date as things progressed. They even saved us money along the way. How good is that!”
“They are so helpful. Being a single mum I find it difficult time wise. East Coast Finance were a great help, they took the time to find a great loan that suited my needs and lifestyle which is just wonderful. The Team at East Coast Finance made sure everything was taken care of with the property purchase and I was informed of where my purchase was up to from start to finish. My 3 boys & I now have a wonderful place to call home. So happy.”
We have supported borrowers since December 2013, with a focus on explaining lending terms without unnecessary jargon. We assess the purpose of a loan before comparing available lenders, rather than assuming that one product will fit every application. A loan's interest rate is only part of the decision: fees, repayment flexibility, offset arrangements, lending criteria and potential exit costs can all be relevant.
Our work continues beyond the initial comparison. We help prepare the application, identify supporting documents, communicate with the lender and explain what is required before settlement. If the application involves self-employment, investment income or construction work, we discuss how the lender may assess the circumstances. We also explain what remains subject to credit assessment and approval.

We assess the purpose of your loan before comparing available lenders, rather than assuming one product fits every application.

We help you gather documents and manage the application, from first conversation to settlement.
A repayment estimate can help you begin a budget, but it cannot confirm how much a lender will approve. Lenders assess income, expenditure, debts, deposit size and other circumstances under their own policies. Features such as fixed or variable rates, redraw facilities and offset accounts should be considered alongside ongoing fees and the comparison rate where relevant.
You can explore the calculators on this website for general estimates, then speak with us about the information lenders normally request. We work with people buying their first home, borrowers reviewing their current mortgage and those financing an investment or building project. Our approach is to clarify each step and discuss available lending options without promising an approval, saving or particular financial result.
